Summary of Dispute

I purchased a Corsair Power Supply from Newegg.com. I returned it because I didn’t need it after all. I provided a tracking number upon contacting Newegg Customer support. They told me they received it on July 9 and emailed me to tell me that my return was approved and that I would receive my refund back to my credit card in 3 to 5 business days. Today is August 28 and I still have not received my refund and they have the Corsair Power Supply in their possession. I filed a dispute with my credit card’s security team to get my refund back and I provided my post office receipt with the tracking number, Newegg’s emails showing stating that they received the Corsair power supply and now Newegg is being investigated for theft because they refused to give me my refund. Newegg representatives also lied to me telling me they never received the item after they told me that they had received it on the phone and by email. This is a fraudulent company who steals from their customers.

The outcome is that since I still have not received my refund in the amount of $90.09 my credit card’s security team is investigating Newegg for theft and since I have all the documentation to prove that Newegg is lying and has not processed my refund my credit card will give me back my refund in the amount of $90.09 and will get in touch with Newegg to get the $90.09 from them. I read Newegg’s reviews from other customers after I had a horrible experience with Newegg who also have not received their refunds back from Newegg for merchandise that they returned so I know I am not the only one who is going through this. I wish I would have read their reviews sooner but I was not aware of the reviews that other customers had left for them until after my bad experience with Newegg.I will NEVER buy anything from Newegg.com EVER again. Newegg steals money from people who shop on their website. They also state they honor a return policy but that’s false and misleading information, too.
