Summary of Dispute

I submitted a POA to Christina Bryson, a local Citizens Bank branch manager for my 91 year old aunt who is unable to manage her finances. I received a call from Marissa Griffith from the office of the chairmen to inform me that my POA was rejected. I was confused because the POA was prepared by a PA Attorney who has never had a POA rejected. When I requested an explanation Marissa told me their legal team could not offer advice. I wasn't asking for advice I was asking for a list of changes Citizens required so my attorney could take correction action. How could I possibly resubmit a modified POA if they were unwilling to inform me of the changes they require? My aunt and uncle entrusted their hard earned savings to Citizens Bank and now when my aunt needs the money for in home health care they deny me my legal right to help pay for her care. Citizens Bank has no compassion or concern for the health and welfare of their depositors. I would never entrust my funds to Citizens Bank.

Summary of Transaction Venue's Actions

My 91 year old aunt is unable to get the in home care she needs because Citizens Bank refuses to accept a legal and binding POA prepared by her attorney allowing me to handle her financial affairs. Who is responsible for the liability associated with any injury she may sustain due to Citizens failure to grant me my legal right to access her funds for in home health care.
