Summary of Dispute

Charge for an oil change was $49.25 which I was given. Merchant entered the charge three times on my Wells Fargo debit card for a total of $147.75. Merchant did not give me a copy of the debit card receipt. The next day I was checking my bank account and noticed the debit charge of $147.75, so I went to the merchant and requested a credit be issued for $98.50 which is the total for the two duplicate charges that they had issued against my debit card account. The mechant refused to issue a credit and said they do not issue credits or refund checks and that the error was the banks fault. The store manager gave me a copy of the Debit Card ticket which shows an amount of $49.25 three times and a total sale amount of $147.75. plus the sales invoice number 347049 which shows the total sale was $49.25
